Very interesting! I am currently working on a similar calibration
oscillator that will be locked in frequency and phase with WWVB's
carrier at 60 kHz. The same concept should work with MSF and JJY
on 40 and 60 kHz as well.
It starts with a crystal oscillator at 10 MHz that is subsequently
divided down to 1 MHz, 100 kHz, 50 kHz, 25 kHz, and 10 kHz, providing
a slew of frequency standards and marker signals for the shack.
I hope to have it completed in about a month. Its first application
will be to accurately calibrate my K2's frequency display. :-)
