[Elecraft] Non-Elecraft Transverter use with the K2

My K2 works fine with a Ten-Tec 6m transverter. I feed it from antenna 2
and changed the resistive pad to get the correct drive level with the 1W
minimum level from the K2. With the K2's transverter support it is almost
seamless, apart from the need to switch on the transverter of course. I
have worked quite a bit of DX with it including several transatlantic
contacts running about 7W to a home-made delta loop in my attic (it's a lot
easier on CW, though!)
Since this meets my VHF needs I've lost interest in the Elecraft internal
transverter interface option, should it ever become available.

drop me a note direct about it.

VHF/UHF enthusiast,
I would like to hear from anyone who has used their K2 with a
non-Elecraft transverter. How did you do it? Did you use J13? Has
anyone
tried DownEast Microwave's TIK2 board?
I have a DEM 903 MHz transverter that I want to hook up to my
K2.
The J13 female header looks like the spot to use, but how does the DEM TIK2
work there? Especially, since the revision B boards have already taken 8T
off J13.
Scott from Elecraft is looking at the DEM TIK2 documentation for
application.
Thanks,
