Thanks Ken, Stan, Dan & Phil! I think I have it now with your =
collective help.
My confusion came from the fact that the diffuser went on first, under =
the led, plus it had covering on the front and back, with the front =
being loose. Now, who ever heard of a diffuser going under, rather than =
over? Well, if I had not winked-out and called the diffuser by it's =
proper name, BACKLIGHT diffuser, it would have made sense.
The other thing was that the manual kept saying "Make sure the LEDs in =
the LCD backlight assembly are pressed into the difusser and are not =
misaligned or loose". You can't even see the LEDs, so the design has =
changed to a intergral assembly and I was confusing myself .
And those spacers....they're the ones that flew accross the room when I =
cut them off! Just found the last one under the tanning bed. Whoooo =
(wipes sweat off forehead).
And Ken, I'll look again for the search string option. Haven't seen it =
yet, but I've been missing a lot of things lately! Thanks for the tip.
Well, it's 4:45AM now...better get cracking on this beast, yes?
Thanks again to all who took the time to help!
Have a great weekend es 73,
