[Elecraft] KX1 still Low Power

Well, if it helps establish expectations of "adequate" at all, my S/N 004
does the following with 13.8 vdc applied:

40: 4.1 watts
30: 4.8 watts
20: 3.8 watts

I believe that it's normal (the way the output network works) to see a
"peak" in the 30 meter range.

My dry cells are wiped, only producing about 6.8 volts. This is what I get
on them:

40: 1 watt
30: 1.2 watts
20: 0.7 watts

As I recall the output is in the 1.3 to 1.7 watt range with fresh batteries
installed.

I fiddled with L2 and compressing the turns increased the difference
between 40 and 20. so I went back to where it was originally.

Conclusion: I have R4 set to I have 4.2 W on 40 (a tad high) and 3.1 W
on 20 (in the 3-4 W range) -- this with a 13.8 V supply.

I'm going to leave this as is and move on. I would like 20 and 40 to be
closer to one another, but it seems I am out of parameters to adjust,
unless L1 would have some effect. I will go back and make sure I do not
have L1 and L2 interchanged or some such. But if not, I am moving on to
the 30 m module and the atu.
