I did both, and all appears to be well. Many thanks to all who made
suggestions! 

BTW, I'm really enjoying the K2/100 and KAT100 combo as a contest rig.
The ability to instantaneously switch between two tuned antennas on the
same band, and between bands with tuned antennas, is especially nice
for a guy like me with far less than ideal antennas on a city lot.  I'm
also really enjoying the computer interface, both with WriteLog and Ham
Radio Deluxe.
