Good Evening to All,
We had a nice mix of steady listeners and new ones. In fact it was a fifty fifty split
between the two. 4 old and 4 new. The net also has at least one more state: North
Carolina. We picked up a stray but he's welcome :)

Tom started off relaying but Earl was so strong I asked him to relay too. It was
helpful to have more ears out there assisting me. And I never would have got
Mychael's check in without help. He was running QRP from the wilds of PA.

I am happy the recent thaw decided to leave my antennas intact but I better wait
until the fir trees are entirely snow free before I say that ;) Our guest from NC was
running a vertical which makes me wonder if I should try tossing one up into one of
these Doug fir trees to see how I can do with it. I truly want a 30 meter antenna and
that may be the easiest way to go about it. The radials are the problem however.
How do you keep from mowing them or strangling the dog are two questions that come
immediately to mind?

Now on to our QNS:
W0SZ - Steve - IA
N0SS - Tom - MO Thanks for the help Tom!
WG4S - Dan - GA
AG4NN - Larry - FL
AA3WF - Mychael - PA QRP via relay works!
K6SE - Earl - CA Very strong signal Earl :) Thanks for the assistance.
KI0WL - broken call - I have a KI0W or a KI0WA but not WL ?????
W4USR - Dennis - NC

I did hear you call me on 14050 Tom but there was someone on frequency at that point
so I moved up to 14051 kHz and commenced calling the net. That is why you came in
second spot :)

Any ideas on KI0WL? I will keep digging but I did not get either a name or a state so I
am a bit at a loss.

For any of you out there who tried but were not picked up I am sorry.

73 to you all,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net control operator 5th class).
