[Elecraft] Odd K2/100 KAT100 Behavior

While starting the build of my KX1 yesterday (quite delayed since I 
could not find my side cutters .. then my solder .. so I had to make two 
replacement shopping trips), I decided to listen with my K2/100.

It had not been powered at all for a while (turns out the PS supply was 
unplugged in the back of the supply).  When I figured that out and 
powered it up, tuning was bizarre.  At 98 W or so, tuning seemed to work 
but it never left the TUNE mode, with sometthing like 1 W displayed as 
POUT.  Dropping down to less than 10 W resulted in similar behavior.  I 
should add that it never actually tuned (no relay sounds) since I was 
using the same freq and antenna last used.

I cycled DC power to the rig and after 4-5 cycles of that, all was back 
to normal.

But I do wonder what that was all about.  I should add that I have, but 
have not installed (planned for post KX1 build) the latest KAT100 
firmware.  Could that be the issue?
