[Elecraft] KIO2 Spare White Wire

Hello to all.

Thanks to Jeff WK6I archive email I side step some difficulty. BTW, the 
postings and archive
are invaluable.

My question is now about the interface cable, my cable only has the 
red/black/white/bare wires.
No green. I can use the White in place of the Green wire since it states 
that the White wire is a spare.

When I did the inventory I only verified that the length of 15ft was 
there, not the fact
of the internal colored wires.

So.. has anyone found a need for the spare wire in their usage of the 
i/o cable before I continue?
