[Elecraft] K2 Toroid question

Hi all

I'm just winding the receiver toroids on my K2 and I've reached T5.
I'm slightly confused by figure 6-16 on page 52 of the manual. The
figure show a transformer with a 14 turn coil and a 4 turn coil. the 4
turn coil starts at gap 5 of the 14 turn coil and finishes at gap 9
making it symmetrical about the 14 turn coil. T5 is actually 16 turns
rather than 14. Do I need to wind the 4 turn coil starting at gap 7 so
it is symmetrical?
