[Elecraft] Pelican 1060 Micro Case

I have a Pelican 1060 Micro Case.

Unfortunately I don't own a KX1 (yet) to try the fit but I just measured
the interior of the cae and it is 8.25" X 4.25" X 1 3/8" (bottom half) 
+ 5/8" (top half)
so the KX1 should fit with a bit of room to spare. The inside bottom
of the case is about 1/8" thick soft rubber liner. The top is lined 
with a foam
pad that has a neoprene-like texture, neither is removable.

The case is a little bit long, but it may possibly have enough space 
for the
KXPD1 paddles (detached from the rig) earbud phones and maybe even
a hunk of wire or two.

Sounds like maybe this is an ideal case for the KX1.

P.S. I have a larger Pelican case (the 1400 with the pick and pluck 
foam)
that I originally bought to carry my FT-817 + accessories and I found 
that
it makes a good case for the K1 + accessories for trips by car or air.
