[Elecraft] KX1 and Straight Key?

Hi Steve,

Yes, you can set INP to HND (hand key) in the menu and use an external straight key.

You can also put the KX1 into "switch CW" mode and use two of the front-panel
switches as either a straight key or as a keyer paddle. This is provided as a
backup method of sending, just in case you lose your paddle, break a wire, etc.
when out in the field.
