Hi Joe,

I usually toss a 24' wire in a tree and lay one 16' wire on the ground. The
extra wires are primarily backups (there *are* wire-eating trees out there). But
there are also times when 24' won't work with available supports (small trees,
etc.). In such cases I'll put up a 16' wire. Finally, if I have more time, I
like to experiment with the number and length of radials, or concatenate two
wires to make a longer vertical element, etc.
