[Elecraft] KX1 Side Tone Thump

Anybody got a cure for the audio thumping while 
sending CW. Its quite annoying. Sig sound fine on 
the air, but get thumping in the sidetone audio 
in the earphones.  Took it to the club last 
night, for a demo, and put the output on a pair 
of amplified computer speakers. It was so loud I 
was embarrased. I told them it must be my mistake 
in building the rig. 
Checked every component and they are all of the 
correct value. 
I do have R32 in place, I think this was a cure 
for the problem.
