[Elecraft] Questions about the KX1 not on the FAQ

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Palm Paddle with the KX1?  If so, how do you attach it 
to the KX1?   Recent statements about the tactile feel of the KXPD1 have me 
wondering a little, and I have an unused Palm Paddle.

Another question.  For SWL use, any comments about listening with a small 
speaker?  Any particular type?  I had a crystal set once that I used with a 
speaker, but it was an old, high impedance one.  Maybe an amplified 
speaker?  N0SS sent me a speaker amplifier, but the 5" speaker I put it on 
is well over three times the size and weight of the KX1.
