[Elecraft] Question about using Icom AH-4 with K2 + solder question

I would like to second Vic's assessment of the solder situation. I got a 
pound of 2% silver solder, used it on the K2 (it WAS recommended 
then), and am still using it for everything. I have also made a bunch of 
modifications using solder wick and the GC solder popper, and 
everything has worked well.

I think people get a bit too hung up on this subject.
