    What I am most impressed with is the change to a low drain LED
display.  This would eliminate the need for illuminating LED's added
around the K1 display.  Second, the very neat addition of CW 
"announcement" of frequency etc. on demand.  Very nice addition
for night use, or sight impaired people (like me without my
bifocals!)  Could the CPU chip of the K1 be programmed for this sort of
thing?
