Hi Steve,

I carry the KX1 around in a fanny pack and have never had it turn on
accidentally, but in a backpack it could. We're considering offering a
crush-proof custom carrying case for the KX1 that will prevent accidental
power-on, but in the mean time you'll need to find some other way to prevent
this. Pelican makes a case that's exactly the right size that would protect the
switches and knobs while also being waterproof.
