Not familiar with that Kenwood, but if it is an HT with HF capabilities,
the KX1 should blow it away for SWBC.
Comparing with a high-end SWL rcvr (e.g., the Sony SW-100 at $400 or so)
will prove more interesting, I suspect. and I will do that, since I
have that Sony :-)
