I remember thinking exactly that same think while doing inventory on my
KSB2. When the FT23-43 cores rolled out of the bag onto my sorting tray,
they looked like felt washers to me. And I recall exactly how awkward they
were to wind.

I have lost count of how many of those lil chokes I have wound since that
time, but my hands and eyes are pretty used to things by this point. Lessee,
my customer list shows 349 builders serviced through more than 500 prewound
toroid orders since I began offering this service. Guess that I *should* be
used to the things by now... At the very least, I am used to running to the
post office- hi!
