A skill that I've always longed for but never developed is the ability =
to
speak while sending CW.=20
I've known a number of ops who could do that, but I'm sharing to many =
neural
circuits with the two functions and trying to do them both at once =
causes
total chaos. I can listen if I'm not in the middle of sending something
really complicated (or difficult to spell) and I think of what I want to =
say
in reply, but I can't say the words. So the best I can do is pause at =
the
key for a couple of seconds, say a few words, and resume sending while I
listen again.=20

I have to go along with Mike on this issue. Sending and receiving code =
use=20
different parts of the brain and so can be skills differentially =
learned.=20
The same is true of learning languages, speaking and hearing. ...
