Hello,

Last weekend I finished my K2 #3818 (without any option yet). It seems
that it works great.
Made some CW QSOs on 80,40,30,20 meters. Higher bands were a bit quite due
to the bad propagation. Although I have heard some beacons at 18110.
Above 10MHz I can do noise floor measurements. All bands measured were
between -130 and -136dBm so no receiver sensitivity problem.

Measured RF power out was 14-15W below 21MHz, 12W at 21MHz and 11W for
24MHz and 9.6W 28MHz. This was more or less according the K2's readout.
The voltage (K2 display) went down from 13.2V (receiving) to 12.4V full
power. Displaying "High Cur" for short times. Brought the Current setting
to 3.00 Amps.
I have a lot experience in building tranceivers (no kits) and this droop
of power for the higher bands is normal for me.

I received weak QRP stations around 7030 while several EU broadcasters
generated S9+40 dB and up at 7125 and 7150KHz.
Soon I do more reliable receiver measurements.

The only small remark I have is:
Switching of the powerswitch gives a sharp noisy click in the headphone
(and speaker). Such a high quality radio may not do this. This is the
first thing I will improve.
Are there people who solved this already?
