Charles,

The NB is designed for impulse noise like a bad auto ignition system or
RFI generated by an electric motor with sparking brushes. Try generating
a spark with a battery and some scrapes of wire (use a limiting
resistor). If that doesn't work, I can shipping you my wife's Mixmaster,
you'll have to pick up the shipping both ways. :-)
