[Elecraft] Definitely Off-Topic But I Beg Your Forbearance

Netscape email just devoured my entire saved file of Elecraft emails and 
I'm in a mild panic.

Is there anyone who is familiar with this problem and knows how to 
recover the file?

I've had no success with Netscape's alleged support functions at all.

This problem has happened before.  It seems to be some sort of program 
bug in which a file's "character coding" is changed from the desired 
Arabic font (ISO 8859-6) to another Arabic font, in this case Arabic 
(IBM-864).  All efforts to change the file back to the desired font 
fail.  I know how to do it, but clicking on "OK" at the end of the 
procedure simply does nothing.  Thus, I can't "read" the files although 
they seem to still be there.  (Right clicking on the file name indicates 
that files are present.  But they are "invisible.")

I'm sorry for going into this much detail and there is much more, but 
I've taken too much space already.  If ANYONE can help me with this, I 
would be deeply appreciative.  I've lost every Elecraft file I ever 
stored, and would dearly love to get them back.

Yes, I will DEFINITELY be changing to another email program as soon as 
possible.  This Netscape nonsense is intolerable!!!!!!!!!!!!
