Not really. Contest exchanges are highly repetitious. If I had a dollar for
every time I've sent "A N2EY 67 EPA" in SS.....

I don't know anybody who uses an automated code reader in a contest. Too
error prone.

I don't really know how fast I'm going with my bugs. I match the other guy
and let it go at that. Sometimes I'll Farnsworth rather than move the weight.
