[Elecraft] KX1 #78, Sucess!!!

Hi Gang!

I just finished building KX1 serial number 78 along with all the options 
(KXB30, KXAT1 & KXPD1) and am happy to report that everything went very 
smooth.  I have built a K1 and a K2 and am very pleased with the KX1.

I am in the process of climbing the 54 mountains in Colorado that are taller 
than 14,000 ft and I am really looking forward to taking the KX1 into the 
back country with me.  I've climbed 30 of the 54 14'ers and will be hard at 
it again next summer.

Wow, Victoria sure did a good job getting all those parts counted and put 
into the kit for me.  Not a single thing missing.  THANKS VICTORIA!!

By the way, about 2 weeks ago my wife said "I don't know what we are going 
to get you for your birthday"... I said, no problem, I've got it taken care 
of and about 3 days later the KX1 arrived!!    I'll be looking for contact 
#1 tonight on 40 meters.

In my opinion, a very nice addition to my collection.  See you next summer 
from my tent in the Colorado Rockies!
