Thanks guys, but I have to confirm that I am using the correct test point,
TP1 and running CAL PLL on 40M. Also I know my counter and probe is working
ok as prior to CAL PLL I have done the PLL ref osc. and BFO range tests
these are both fine, stable, and within spec.
I have as part of the upgrade changed the firmware, now 2.03d and the IOC,
now 1.07. I have tried my old firmware back in but still the same problem,
not yet tried my old IOC back in yet, ongoing.

Thanks for the suggestions I have a bad feeling about this one....
