Yep.... a great outfit indeed.  The ASA merged with Army Intelligence in
early 1977 along with a couple of smaller intel support commands. The whole
group is now called the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command and was
given a new mission. The Clinton years saw this command stripped and
gutted.... although they are still a strong component of our military effort
they just recently received better funding again.
