[Elecraft] KX1 # 025

Gang,

Add another KX1 to the population.  I have the 40/20 meter basic radio
working.  I used it on the Spartan Sprint for a while tonight.  My output is
3.5 watts with 13,8 volts.  Guess Ill be running a watt or perhaps two with
7.2 volt internal batts.  Managed about 20 QSOs in a little under an hour,
then slid down to 7005 and worked a CT1.  .  The radio is impressive.  Not a
K2 or K1, but no too shabby!!  I like the variable filter.  It performs
remarkably well for its' simplicity. Yet another work of genius from
Elecraft!!

Now on to the 30 meter board and the ATU.
