Please be careful Mike. I was advised the term "Finger Dimple" is
registered by K8FF, therefore when refering to the RS product, we must
use the term "finger thingy" or "Winder do-dad, " to avoid possible
lawsuits............;-)

I have a Canadian made Finger Dimple on the knob of my K2. I've had it 
since long before I heard of K8FF. Does that mean I have to be careful 
about how I describe my Finger Dimple to other hams on the air? By the way, 
I'm very pleased with my Canadian Finger Dimple. The paint does in time 
wear off the Canadian Finger Dimple but the Finger Dimple sure makes 
spinning the knob easier. I presume however that one Finger Dimple may be 
as good as another Finger Dimple, but I'm certainly not going to allow 
somebody's lawyer, whether he is a ham or not, scare me into calling my 
Finger Dimple a shoe horn.
