[Elecraft] HELP! Nightmare on 15 Meters

   I had to go home for something this am, so I turned
on my 4-band K1 to listen to 15M.  There was some
intriguing activity at the low end of the band, but
when I used the ATU, there was a weird sound. When I
transmitted, there was a REALLY weird sound - it
sounds like a chord, two or three tones, lower than my
sidetone. Almost sounds like I'm receiving my own sig
as I transmit - but that's not possible, is it?

  Anyway, it also shows about 2W out on the power
meter, although the rig was set for 5W. The other
bands are AOK.

  Each time I tried the ATU, I got sort of a similar
sound to the discordant chord I hear when
transmitting, but it's quieter, then dies out as the
rig displays the SWR (1.1:1 this am.

  Aaarrrgghhh & waaaahhhh. What's to be done??
