[Elecraft] PLL Reference Oscillator

I've had an intermittent PLL reference oscillator (based on frequency readings
at TP3) for about the last month. Things would perk up if I grounded or used a
DMM to probe between D16/L31 and ground. All voltages seem to be correct. I've
replaced Q19 (J310) and D18 (1N4148) and the situation has not improved. Today,
I was unable to resuscitate the oscillator. I'm guessing that X1 may be the
culprit. What has been the typical failure point of the PLL reference
oscillator? Will any HC49 12.096 crystal work? (e.g. Mouser Part #
520-HCA1209-S / ECS Part # ECS-121-S-1 12.096 MHz).
Mouser could have it here (Oklahoma City) Friday if I ordered tomorrow before 2
or 3 PM (UPS Ground).
I have to decide in about 12-15 hours if I want to order it.
Thanks,
Daniel/AA0NI
