[Elecraft] Broadband by power line -- a problem?

Hi,

I'm a long-dormant ham, thinking of getting active again, and my interest
would be QRP.  But I'm bothered by the proposal, apparently soon to be
considered by the FCC, to modulate the national AC power grid with broadband
internet, so that everyone will have access to broadband internet service
without installation of DSL phone lines or digital cable.  I've heard that,
if this happens, it could be the end of HF radio transmission, especially
QRP.  Is anyone out there concerned about this?  If I'm going to spend the
time and money to put a K2 on the air, I want to be able to use it!
