I would support Dave's remarks and add that SD also interfaces very nicely 
to the K2 using the I/O port (KIO2 or KPA100), if you choose to make that 
connection.  Use the "Kenwood" radio port set-up in SD.  Then you have 
automatic frequency logging, and some rig control from the PC, as well as 
the automatic keyer etc. that makes it all so easy I sometimes wonder if it 
should be classed as cheating.
