[Elecraft] RTC in the KDSP2

Recon I have a problem with the lithium battery or the battery holder.  When 
I hold STORE and RCL simultaneously all I see is - - - - - (five dashes).  All 
else appears to be working fine.  Any ideas anyone?  Roy  W4WFB
