[Elecraft] K1 ATU confusing step (RF-R39)

Installing the ATU on my K1: I've reached an assembly step that says:

	Install resistor RF-R39 (1.8 k, brown-gray-red) on the
	bottom of the RF board between Q14 base and ground,
	if you haven't already.  This is described in detail on page
	31 of the K1 owner's manual (right column, last assembly
	step).

In my K1 owner's manual, the last step on page 31 is installing RFC9,
nothing to do with RF-R39, and I cannot find mention of RF-R39
in the surrounding steps either.

Any ideas?
