[Elecraft] Stuck?

Hi guys,

I finished the first part and I am onto the first testing phase.  Hooked 
up the K2 to a battery.  Turned it on, and get Info 201 (which I know is 
normal).  After that, I get Elecraft and the 7100.00 on the display.  So 
far so good.  I then select the display button to check the voltage. 
Nothing happens.  I then try to move the encoder... nothing.. It just 
looks like it freezes.  Turn it off and on and I hear the relays and 
"Elecraft" appears again.  Nothing... hitting any of the buttons on the 
display does nothing.

One thing... it said that I had a low battery after I turned it off and 
on for the first time.  Could the low battery caused it to not 
initialize properly?
