[Elecraft] Don't be shy--go ahead and ask! (OK, here's one about antennas)

Have not worked with a slinky, but have run horizontal 1.25 wave loops on
80m for past several Field Days at 20 feet high. Some were even bigger.
One was 800 plus feet, one 660 and one 330. Mostly sized by available
supports at a football field and school ground around it.
Work great on 80 to 10 at that height. If you do not have metal edging on a
the roof edge around the perimeter of the roof should work.
We tried a horizontal loop around a flat roof EOC building with metal edging
and it does not work well due to coupling to the metal flashing.
But on a home it should be OK on wood. Worth a try!
