[Elecraft] Nearby Strong Signal Mod

Has any done the nearby strong signal mod for the K2 as describe on Elecraft website?  I did it last PM and initial test have suggested that it has not really helped too much with nearby QRM situations. I tested the mod by using the K2 attached to my longwire ant and transmitting a series of DITS on another radio into a dummy load on the same band and adjacent band. I still see the S-meter go up and down and can still hear a buzzing sound in my K2.  Just want to know what other folks experiences have been.
