[Elecraft] Dayton, new K1, new house

Hello List,
    I went to Dayton and met the Elecraft crew.  I showed off my only HF
rig (a Tiny Tornado) and picked up a K1.  I expect it will be a worthy
successor.  When I add accessories I plan to pay shipping instead of
taxes.  $29.12 in taxes seemed a bit much but Dayton has streetcars so I
guess they needed the money for their electric bill.
    We sign the papers for our house on Wednesday and then we move so I
will have to wait just a bit before starting on my new radio.  The timing
of the trip was bad because of the new house but it worked out for the
better.  While I was in Dayton a tree limb fell on the driveway and would
have totalled my car had I been home.
