Tom,

I also have a 80/17m board in addition to a 40/30/20/15m board.

The K1 MCU stores whatever calibration adjustment you've made
for a particular band, regardless of whether or not a filter
board with that band is actually installed.

So you are completely correct in your assumption on how a filter
board swap works.  When you install and align the 80/17m board
the first time, the K1 front panel MCU will store the calibration
information for 80m and 17m after you have assigned b1 to 80m and
b2 to 17m and performed the display calibration.

When you later re-install the 40/30/20/15m board, and reassign
b1 to 40m and b2 to 30m, the K1 will apply the stored calibration
for 40m and 30m.

When you later re-install the 80/17m board, the correct calibration
will be made effective as soon as you assign b1 to 80m and b2 to 17m.

Also, the K1 front panel MCU automatically detects whether a two-band
or a four-band filter board is installed.
