Ron is absolutely right. Working the booth is a BUNCH of fun! I worked
the first 2 hours or so on Friday and we had quite a lineup. I would like
to thank everyone who was in line during that time for your
patience! Since the "Convention Cowboys" won't let you into the
exhibitors area until the general public gets in (I went to a forum which
gave me a 5-min head-start this year), it takes a few minutes to get up to
speed and start processing orders.
Maybe next year, the kind folks at Elecraft will arrange for an exhibitors
badge for the person scheduled to open the show in the booth.
Anyway, the KDSP2 was going like mad, as was the KAT100. If I remember
correctly, there were 5 K2's sold in the first 2-hours of Friday as well.
As usual, I got my "Dayton cold" which kept me out of the action on Sat
and Sun. I'm going to have to remember to start taking antibiotics a week
before Dayton from now on!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, even if it was just to say
"Hi!"
Oh: and MANY thanks to those of you who thought I was Gary! That is high
praise in my book!

PS: I forgot to get my Elecraft shirt! Doh! After the lightning strike,
it would be the only piece of Elecraft gear I own that still
worked. Double-Doh!
