[Elecraft] Interesting QSO

I called CQ on 20m cw (running 5w from my K2/100) with the Hex Beam 
pointed toward Europe, and got a call from N7IH near Seattle. I swung 
the beam around toward him, and he gave me a 569 - 589 /w deep QSB sig 
report  (he was about 599 at this end in NE Ohio).

He mentioned that he was using an ICOM 756PRO-II and that he was 
operating from the ICOM America Club Station. On the next over, I bumped 
the power up to 100 watts (to help w/ the deep QSB), and told him I was 
using a K2, and that I also had an ICOM 746PRO which I use occasionally 
on SSB, but that I prefer the K2 on CW.

On his next over, he gave me a 599 plus 10db signal report, and 
specifically said "The K2 keying sounds nice and soft - I like it" !

I thought that was a nice complement to the K2, especially coming from 
an op at the ICOM America club station.
