Since R19 (100k) has been added to the K1 VFO circuit, one will get a =
fairly uniform increment of about 17 kHz per turn when using the 150 kHz =
option.  (Typically one actually gets about 170 kHz of span, and it's a =
ten-turn VFO pot.)

I assume for the 80 kHz option one would get about 9 kHz per turn.

I find the 170 kHz span to be useful here in an ITU region that has a 40 =
meter CW band that is 150 kHz wide.  It helps cover most of the 15 meter =
CW band too.  In my opinion, the tuning rate is very acceptable.  I did =
add some felt washers between the front panel and the back of the VFO =
knob to get a little bit of rotational drag.
