[Elecraft] KPA100 and KAT100 in EC2, instructions, order to build...

For an external KPA-100 and KAT100 in EC-2, is this configuration still 
capable of being remotely controlled ? 

My goal is to setup and occasionally run an HF Remote Base using my 
recently acquired K2.  Simple remote at first (from house to shack), over 
the 'net later with a common interface to what we are beginning to use for 
a TenTec Pegasus.
