[Elecraft] Recurring noise every 16 khz on 40M/20M

Just finished the Rev A-B mod yesterday and spent lots of time on the radio
last night listening.

I can't say I noticed it before but on 40M there is a repetitive 'noise'
every 16khz, at 7003, 7019, 7035, 7051...And not as strong but also appears
again in the 20m band, 14003, 14019, 14035. If it is on 15m and 10m I
couldn't detect it. The signal level on 40m is usually about 1 or 2 S- units
louder than the band noise level. I didn't check all the way up the band.

It is somewhat of the old "ocean liner" jammer sound, or maybe a mulit-tone
"birdie" of sorts; definitely not a clear single tone, nor is it a white
noise sound.

Comments what might be the cuplrit?
