[Elecraft] taking the plunge

I waited two years to "take the plunge". It's worth it. The K2 isn't
difficult to build. The totality looks menacing, but it won't hurt.

I had never wound toroids before. Afterward, I got to thinking about
doing so as being akin to having a quilting bee.

Now I'm thinking about a K1 just to build some more, even though I don't
care much for CW.

All this talk is drawing me in. I have been pondering a K2, but haven't

"taken the plunge". I have built a number of kits, but nothing nearly
this
complicated. Or should I start with a K1?
