[Elecraft] KAT-1 Help

Okay. Got the K1-4 going nicely . . . went to install the KAT-1 and
everything worked just fine up until I got to the part about Power
Calibration.  I get no power out from the K1 (I set the OUT to 5 watts, and
after I try the power calibration, it has moved back to a lower setting)
Just for fun I tried the tuner in the TUN mode and all it does is clickety
clack ad-infinitum until I stop it (I don't let it go on too long)
Maybe I'm missing something . . . when the instructions say, "If you have an
external wattmeter: Enter Tune Mode. Once the power has stabilized, tap WPM+
or WPM- until the wattmeter shows close to 5.0 watts.  Well, the external
wattmeter shows 0 and the K1 wattmeter shows something like .1
Now, I tried completely rewinding T1 and making sure that none of the turns
was shorted and that every turn went into the right hole . . .

Any suggestions ? ? ?
