[Elecraft] DSP: More Questions and Request for WAVE files

The KDSP2 sounds like an exciting innovation! I particularly like the open source software since this will nurture even more innovation. Nice work. Thanks!

As a CW op I'm trying to determine if the KDSP2 is a better choice than the KAF2.  A few questions follow.

1. Why doesn't the auto-notch work in CW mode?

2. Why is the Noise eliminator off by default in CW mode? Does this imply that it works better in SSB than in CW mode?

3. KAF2 has a very pleasing sound in that hiss etc is removed. Is this in part a function of the "soft slopes" of the audio filter? Does the KDSP2 have a similar pleasing sound?

4. How about posting wave files that demonstrate the KDSP2 capabilities.  This would help us make a decision between the two filters and help us understand its capabilities.
