[Elecraft] K2 carrying case?

Daniel,
Case (when laid ready to open) is about 6" thick, 18" wide and 13" deep. I
threw out the carton long ago, so UPC is gone. Outer is a bright embossed
aluminum. Rounded corners. Two locking latches and black handle. Mine
came with a shoulder strap. In the lid there is a tool insert with
several pockets. The body of the case has some user placable dividers but
comes filled with a foam cushion block. The foam is scored in a way that
makes it pretty easy to pick out little cubes of foam to make fitted
depressions in the foam to hold equipment. The case is marketed as an
'electronic technicians' tool case. I believe the case at Lowes was
marketed as "Task Force" (or "Work Force" or "Guard Force") brand. The
models from Lowes and Home Depot were very similar, but brands different
if I recall. I believe I paid about $13 for mine from Lowes, but this
surely was sale markdown from $20-25. Not a famous bomb-proof Anvil
case, but I'm sure I'll get years of service at a tiny fraction of an
Anvil case price!

Does this help?
GL,
Steve

I'm curious if you could post dimensions and maybe even brand and UPC code
so I
can check out my neighborhood Lowes for this case.

Thanks :)
