[Elecraft] Power Pole Query

I have used small gauge wire in crimped Power Pole connectors by stripping a
longer section of insulation off the conductor and folding the wire over
itself several times and then twisting a turn or so.
This method won't provide a strain relief, as the strength of the connection
is still the original wire gauge. So, don't pull on the wire and grab the
connector housing to connect and disconnect. It's slightly less cumbersome
than, but not nearly as good as, soldering.
I have also obtained the crimping tool from Harbor Freight. It goes on sale
from time to time and I got mine for $3.47 around Christmas time.
Attached is the link for the item, though I had gotten mine at a local
outlet.
